Fear...Face it!!

Today my friend sent me  a video about swimming. It showed how the scared ducklings follow their mother. They jumped in water and started swimming. This reminded me of my own struggles with the same. No matter how many times I tried, but could never learn it. Even encouragement from fellow learners (some as young as 4 year olds) didnt help.
All this got me thinking, what exactly was stopping me? Was it the fear of failure? Maybe maybe not... Whom and why should I prove? Its fine for me.

Fear is very useful to us as humans. It is a response to physical and emotional danger.  If we were not afraid, we couldn't protect ourselves from legitimate threats.
It focuses on areas of our lives which our instincts tell us needs our attention. It helps us to concentrate. Fear helps you to take precautions better than risks. But when you are not able to control it, its dangerous.

Everyone is afraid of something or the other. Like falling from height or failing in exam etc.Reading and listening to motivational videos or talks is of great help. But do we apply it?

There are many things that we fear or are afraid of. I guess the fear of failing is what tops the list or fear of rejection.
Kids are least bother about this as they don't understand the consequences. But as we grow, fear comes into existence.

If I like to do things my way, I will. I always wonder why do we need any approval. May be because we want acceptance by the society. May be we need people to be around. Fear of loneliness is not  handled by all. I am remembered for the things I do or the values I have. I want them to accept me as I am.
Fear is nothing but a state of mind.To overcome fear, keep working rather than only thinking. Better we try than only think. Thinking will not overcome fear, but action will.

Be convinced about what you do and I am sure the success will follow you.Always speak out your views when asked for. Be ready for the non acceptance.

Fear comes from uncertainty. If I am not wrong, what is there to worry about.

Change is the spice of life, but change only if you agree to.
Be brave. To be brave, doesn't mean have no fear, but trying to find the way through it. Be true to yourself and you will be happy. There is no illusion greater than fear. Be positive. Try to do things, which you feel, you can't. Fears we don't face becomes our limits.
Fear is ...
False Evidence appearing real.
So...
Face Everything And Rise.

Very nicely and differently defined fear. Fear is protective and sometimes compels to act differently though the circumstances may be same. Well written and appreciate the effort to write straight from heart.

Very well articulated excellent read for particularly all students daughter in laws. We should be confident but not over confident
There's little difference between the two
We are confident of our skills is confidence When we are confident of others skills is OVER Confidence (like when we are driving) Little infection raises our resistance Little fear makes us cautious. Well compiled Gunjan My Salutes
